어떤 종류의 체온계가 좋은가

• 수은을 넣어 만든 유리 항문 체온계나 유리 구강 체온계가 깨질 때 그 속에 있는 수은으로 수은 중독에 걸릴 가능성은 있으나 그럴 경우는 아주 희박하다.1 
• 수은 유리 체온계를 만들고 처리하는 과정에서 일어나는 제반 수은 문제로 환경문제가 생길 수 있다. 수은에 오염된 물고기를 식품으로 섭취한 임신부의 태아에게 수은 중독이 생길 수 있다. 
• 이런저런 이유로 수은 유리 체온계로 체온을 재는 것을 미국 등 세계 선진국 몇 나라에서는 권장하지 않는다. 
• 그러나 과거 수십 년 동안 수은 유리 체온계를 오랫동안 사용했다. 수은 유리 체온계로 인한 수은 중독에 걸린 실례는 없다. 
• 단골 소아청소년 의사의 권장이나 부모의 판단에 따라 전자 체온계를 사용하든지 수은 유리 체온계를 사용할 수 있다. 
• 사실은 수은 유리 체온계나 전자 체온계 이 두 가지 체온계를 쓸 때 장단점이 있다.

요즘 많이 쓰는 전자 체온계는 몸에 접촉 하지 않고 체온을 잴 수 있고 이마에 살짝

대고 체온을 금방 측정 할 수 있으나 가격이 비싸고 몇 달 몇년도안 보관하고 쓰는데도 많은 주의가 필요 한다.

What kind of thermometer is good

• When a glass anal thermometer containing mercury or a glass oral thermometer breaks, it is possible, but very rare, to become poisoned by the mercury in it.

1 • Mercury glass thermometers can cause environmental problems due to all mercury problems that occur in the process of manufacturing and processing them. Mercury poisoning can occur in the fetus of pregnant women who eat mercury-contaminated fish

• For various reasons, taking temperature with a mercury glass thermometer is not recommended in some developed countries, such as the United States.

• However, mercury glass thermometers have been around for a long time in the past few decades. There are no instances of mercury poisoning from mercury glass thermometers.

• Electronic thermometers or mercury glass thermometers can be used at the recommendation of a regular pediatrician or at the discretion of the parent.

• Actually, there are pros and cons to using either a mercury glass thermometer or an electronic thermometer.

Electronic thermometers, which are widely used these days, can measure body temperature without touching the body, and The body temperature can be measured quickly, but it is expensive and requires a lot of care even if it is stored and used for several months or several years.
