• 액체형태 약물을 분무화해 그 분무를 기도 속으로 흡입해 어떤 병을 치료하는 데 쓰는 기계를 분무기라 하고 이 때 쓰는 약물을 분무제라 한다. 
• 약물을 함유한 용액을 흡입하기 쉽게 만든 것을 분무 또는 무상이라고 한다. 
• 요즘 알부테롤, 인탈, 코티코스테로이드제, 서스프린 등의 약을 분무로 만들어 천식치료에 쓰고 있다.

• 피부에 부착할 수 있고 약물이 묻혀 있고 그 약물이 피부를 통해서 흡수되어 병을 치료하거나 병이 발생되지 않게 예방하는 데 쓰는 안대 모양의 약물을 패치라고 한다. 

비강 분무제 Intranasal spray (Nasal spray)

비강 속에 뿌릴 수 있는 생리식염수에는 여러 종류의 상품이 있다. 코가 막히거나 콧속에 마른 코딱지가 있을 때 생리 식염수 분무제로 치료할 수 있다. 먼지 진드기 등 항원이 비강 속으로 들어갔을 때 그런 항원을 씻어낼 때도 쓸 수 있다.

비강의 점막층에 있는 모세혈관을 수축시켜 비강 속을 넓혀주는 역할을 하는 비강 분무제약이다. 2~3 일 이상 써서는 안 된다. 의사의 처방이 없이 미국에서는 약국에서 사서 쓸 수 있다.

• A machine used to treat a certain disease by atomizing a drug in liquid form and inhaling the spray into the airways is called a nebulizer, and the drug used at this time is called a nebulizer.

• A solution containing a drug that is easily inhaled is called nebulization or free of charge.

• These days, medications such as albuterol, intal, corticosteroids, and susprin are used in the treatment of asthma by making sprays.

Patch medicine (adhesion medicine)

• A patch is an eye patch-shaped drug that can be attached to the skin, has a drug embedded in it, and is absorbed through the skin to treat or prevent a disease from occurring.

Intranasal spray (Nasal spray)
