• 영유아들이나 학령기 아이들에게 생긴 경미한 변비를 치료할 때 글리세린 좌약이나 플리트 베이비랙스(Fleet Babylax) 등으로 관장해서 변비를 치료할 수 있다. 
• 플리트 베이비랙스 관장약 한 개 속에는 글리세린 4cc가 들어 있다.

• 피마자유는 설사를 하게 하는 하제 중 하나이다. 
• 그 하제 효력이 상당히 강력하다. 
• 변비를 일으키는 원인은 여러 가지다. 
• 그 때문에 변비가 있으면 그 원인이 무엇인지 우선 알아보든지 또는 변비의 추정적 진단을 한 후 그 변비에 적절한 변비 치료약을 선택해야 한다. 
• 변비의 원인은 기질적 원인과 기능적 원인으로 나눌 수 있다. 대부분의 경우 무엇이 변비의 원인인지 확실히 모르는 때도 있다. 
• 원인을 확실히 모르는 변비를 피마자유로 치료해서는 안 된다. 
• 피마자유를 경구로 먹을 때 잘못해서 피마자유가 기도 속으로 들어가면 기관, 기관지 또는 폐에 심한 피마자유 기관염, 기관지염 또는 폐렴이 생길 수 있다. 
• 피마자유를 집안에 보관할 필요도 없고 또 아이들의 변비를 피마자유로 치료해서도 안 된다.

Drugs for constipation

• Medicines used to treat constipation are collectively called constipation medicines.

2. Castor oil

• Castor oil is one of the laxatives that cause diarrhea.

• Its laxative effect is quite strong.

• There are many causes of constipation.

• For that reason, if you have constipation, you should first find out what the cause is, or make a presumptive diagnosis of constipation and then choose an appropriate constipation treatment for the constipation.

• The causes of constipation can be divided into organic and functional causes. In most cases, it is not always clear what is causing the constipation.

• Constipation of unknown cause should not be treated with castor oil.

• If castor oil accidentally enters the airways when taken orally, severe castor oil tracheitis, bronchitis or pneumonia can occur in the trachea, bronchi or lungs.

• You don’t need to keep castor oil at home, nor should you treat your children’s constipation with castor oil.
